At Portune Design, our goal is to provide to all companies and organizations the best service available without the extreme cost of larger consulting firms. In other words, we want to help you get professional results at a fair price.

We do this by controlling our costs (see the About Us section), and by providing only the services you need. For web sites, remember, not all sites require the latest gadgets - which for some is the wrong design element altogether. For other publications, we discuss cost-effective alternatives as applicable. Please email us with any questions or requests for quotes.

Our standard fees are based on either an hourly rate or a fixed unit/project charge where applicable (all hourly rates are charged in increments of 1/2 hour). There are no minimum requirements. While most of our projects are quoted on a per-project basis, you can use the following hourly rates as a guideline:

• $75/hr - Design and layout (web and print), HTML coding, graphics creation, technical documentation, editing, technical training development, proofing, site maintenance
• $90/hr - CGI/PERL, Java, Javascript, Multimedia, Multimedia training
• $120/hr - Onsite Training and Consulting services

PLEASE NOTE:As of Jan 1, 2008 Portune Design no longer offers consumer web site development. We support the web development needs of our data-management consulting clients, but we no longer develop individual web sites.
