Our greatest privilege

One of the most appalling statistics that comes to my attention every four years is the percentage of voting-age Americans that actually bother to come to the polls. In the last presidential election, for example, only 64 percent of our fellow citizens took the plunge.

Sheesh!

This year, there are over 16 million young people alone that have never voted before in a presidential contest. And let's face it, their participation could really turn the tide.

As such, check out this video and pass it on to every young voter or first-timer you know. In fact, forward it to anyone you can think of. Voting is our greatest democratic privilege as American citizens - don't count yourself among that 36 percent this time around.
