So three cheers to all the moms out there who genuinely "put it on the line" each and every day. Our thanks and our love for everything you've done - and continue to do - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.

And because it is such a difficult and demanding task, even for those who truly believe they're "ready," let's pledge on this day to keep motherhood a choice that every woman can make when the time is right - and not something forced upon her by a prudish, theocratic state.
