Silver lining

In a post earlier today, I suggested that we gather our pitchforks for a last-ditch march on the castle of the evil Doctor Dubya, whose one proven skill seems to be the ability to evade any official scrutiny (or meaningful responsibility) for his long list of misdeeds. Glenn Greenwald, however, gives a great pep talk at Unclaimed Territory, urging us all not to lose heart just yet. It's an excellent read - thanks, Glenn, for the words of encouragement.

(Best keep those pitchforks nearby, though, just in case...)

Somebody should market the "Politician Pitchfork" which every American should be required to keep in their closet, to run out of town politicians who are either incompetent, beholden to something other than the interests of the American people, or just plain evil. The points should be sharp.
