Be sure to read...

...these gems from cyberspace:

Daily KOS writes about the ever-changing meaning ascribed to the word Liberal by followers of the "Cult of Bush".

Ken Grandlund of Common Sense offers an important essay on free speech, and the insidious efforts of American corporations to control Internet usage and content.

Speaking of free speech, BlondeSense reported over the weekend on the firing of a Lonoke, AR, Wastewater Services Supervisor who'd "coincidentally" written an angry, anti-Administration letter to his local paper just three days before. What was that again about "spreadin' democracy"?

And at UpdateAmerica/604, Charles Darwin weighed in yesterday (his birthday, of all things!) about the misleading concept of Scientific Relativism, and wonders why "Americans today feel threatened by the theory of evolution - in fact, by science itself."

Thanks once again for the link-up Bob. It's sad that we are still having to fight for things like this in the "age of Freedom and Democracy" but with a corporatist government on our backs, what choice do we have but to speak up, get people the facts, and fight for the rights of the average person.
